I am cleaning up and have 3 cars I need to get rid of.One is a 56 Town Sedan,99.9 percent complete car. It's a 292,air cooled FOM.It's been parked for 20 years and ran good when parked but engine is stuck now. It's been covered and had the air cleaner on it so it's probably not stuck too tight. It's missing the windshield, radiator and transmission and throttle linkage.Number two is also a 56 Town Sedan, but there's not much left.It is P code car but the engine and tranny are gone. The rear end is still there. The only good body parts are the doors.Number three is a 55 Mainline 2 door. It's a 6 cylinder stick,no OD.It's been parked for 40 years with some windows out,so it's just a rusted hulk, but it has only 54,000 original miles so the suspension, drivetrain, etc. may be OK.I bought it for the front cross member, which wasn't rotted out. Anyone interested before I start removing sellable pieces and taking the rest to the crusher?

I could use the 292 and trans out of the 56 if you are not to far from Ohio.

What condition is the steering wheel in on the 55? Mine is broken at the hub and I'm not sure if it can be fixed. If it is in good condition, how much would you want for it? Mike

The 55 steering wheel is pretty well shot. The sun and weather, with the windows, out have ruined it.

Paul
Do you have the throttle crank for a four barrel set up.
I need the crank which clips onto the accelerator pedal linkage, is supported against the firewall and mounted onto the back of the engine to fit a 56 four barrel.
I have the part which the kickdown and carby connect to.
If you still have one could you pm me?
Regards
Rick

Rick, I'll have to dig through my stuff and see if I still have that. It's gone from the one car I have here in my shop, and the other car is a couple of miles away.I'll see what I can find.

I have a pretty good 56 hood. It's been stripped and primed. It has a small area of rust on the front inner lip.Easily fixable.I want $200 for it.I also have a pretty good 55 hood. It's straight but it was a light blue and being out in the weather for many years,it's got a lot of surface rust.I want $50 for it.I don't have a good fender. The only one I have is not rusted too bad,but it had a close encounter with a tree or some other immovable object.I do have all 4 doors for a Town Sedan. They are in good shape.I think they are worth $50 ? apiece.
