I seen some pics of the Y blocks that were used in south america and noticed the newer versions had different style of heads that were not available up here, does anyone know anything about the south american Y blocks.

The firing order was different on the Phase II engines which required a different cam blank.  Doing a search using Argentina heads in the search bar will bring up some previous posts regarding the South American Y’s.  Here’s a link to one of the threads to get you started.

Dear jeff:

Maybe you can delivery more power with the components that are currently on sale on your country.

Our problem with our Phase 2 engines are the poor(and only) design of the combustion chamber. It´s still need a job on combuscion chambers, ports and a piston with a big dome to reach a decent compression ratio.

If you want (and if you pay the shipment) I can sell you a set of heads, intake, cam and headers, but I think it doesn´t worth for 1 only set.

Was only my 2 cents!

Regards,

Mariano

I would imagine shipping would be very expensive but if I am ever down there I might see if I can take the parts back home with me.
