Did you find a rod?  I looked in my stash, have two that have been through a broken crank (9 pieces) episode.  One has an obvious curve in it, the other looks to be straight.  It has a ding in it on the big end at the rod bolt, doesn't look serious.  However, the cap is gone.  I have extra caps, but the big end would have to be reconditioned because of the mismatched cap.  If you don't find a better one, I think this one could be saved.
