I saw an article in one of the HotRod magazines about two months ago about this engine,went back to purchase it but they were out. I believe they stated that it was in Speedway Motors museum in Lincoln,Neb.Wouldn't it be kool to have this engine for your street car/truck---wonder when John gets done with his aluminum heads if he'd aah--you know?(LOL) Sure would confuse people even more, they still haven't figured out what scrub motor my Y-block is or what adapter I'm using to to change the angle of the distributor. I especially liked the younger guy telling his wife that the Thunderbird engine was an optional G.M. engine used in their Firebird line! Unbelievable!!! KID

Kid: I know exactly how you changed the distributor angle. You moved the hole from the intake to the block and drive it with a piece of rubber hose and two hose clamps.

Heheheheheheheh Rodrigo Alonso is an Y-blocker argentine friend who are in trouble thanks to a big thief(a bad machbine shop guy) who´s ruined rodrigo´s 292. If you give me a bit of time I will translate the entire article. We got many crazy people making Y block parts back into 70´s but no much part remained today. Also I´m a moderator of Y block argentine forum.
