292 Y-Block with 57' ecz-g heads and ford-o-matic . Wanting to trade for a 5.0/302 and aod tranny. Ran fine (love the sound, but threw a pushrod. Pushrod and everything are fine, just haven't gotten around to puttin it back in again, had it back in btu after first fire she threw again (i didn't adjust properly), being i'm wantin to throw in the 302 anyways.

In tampa -fl.... pm for more details and/or if interested

I'm guessin you y-block guys woudl rather buy than trade..so shoot me a om...besides the pushrod she's cherry..i drove her around for about a wek, stored her while i was on a trip, came back turned her over and she threw'her...been plannin the change anyway, do to i could get 3--rwhp and = the mpgs of the y-block..though i will miss the sound :'(

It would be best if the engine was running properly to sell it. Hopefully it shouldn't be to difficult to solve the pushrod problem. Check to make sure the Rocker is working freely & the Rod is not bent. A replacement rod isn't expensive. What model car is it out of?. Doing a conversion seems like a lot of trouble if the Y-block was otherwise in good order. Sure an AOD would be nice, but that is feasible with a kit for the Y-block.. and you'll miss that sound!

bump to the top, it's the cam, not the pushrod. i rockers and pushrods are fine, it's the lobe that's worn down.

Price?  Shipping is always a big factor on something like this.
