I might consider it, after I finally pull the original motor, but can’t predict when exactly (ongoing process). It was rebuilt (Damper Dude) years ago, and I’ll have to calculate it’s millage.

I am interested in it. What are you looking to get for it? !955 - 1957 are all the same balancers.

I dunno. I’d have to call the D. Dude and see what he typically charges for cores when in stock, and then subtract pro-rated age/mileage from rebuild cost, or from difference of what NOS ones sell for (though a rebuilt might be better, considering how rubber deteriorates with age). I might want to wait a bit though, to make sure the NOS one I installed on the fresh motor doesn’t fail immediately, and the Dude plans to stay in business awhile yet 😁. Have you tried the Dude? He might have rebuilt cores for sale (?).
