I am pulling Engine leaving Fordomatic in place. How many Bolts are used to bolt Bell Housing to Engine? I took 2 out at Bottom. Looks like 3 at the top Area. Is that it. Hard to tell without climbing on top of Engine. Thanks!

Yes, four bolts is correct.  Sheet metal pan at the bottom of the bellhousing has to come off, also the starter.

OK. Thanks John. Bottom done. Starter and Tin off. 2 Bolts taken out. Ready to finish and pull Engine. Wasn't sure how many more Bolts. Getting too Old to be climbing on Engine to have a look. This will be My second Y-block rebuild. Just a stock redo from top to bottom on an original untouched 292. What I learned on the first One 10 Years ago, right and wrong, will benefit this One.

Mark, I forgot to remind you to be sure to unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel if you want to leave the converter with the transmission when you pull the engine. A '55 should have six bolts, two groups of three, 180 degrees apart.

Done it. Mine has the replacement Flex Plate which uses 4 Bolts instead of 6. I lost One after I had the Engine out to re-seal it about 5 Years ago. Guess I forgot to tighten One and I found it disappeared when I went to unbolt Flex Plate. I guess I will have to improvise and make One. Nobody in my neck of the woods north of the Border has One. Don't need it for awhile yet. Thanks!
