Hi Guys. Going to bleed my brakes. I put a dual MC in. Should I use a deep socket on the bleeders?  A 6pt.What size? Thank You.

MANUAL BLEED?

I would use a 6PT box end w/ a clear nylon drain hose attached to the bleeder screw to a container (to see bubbles - to prevent a mess).

You have bench bled the MC?

Does that help?

Good advice.  Bench bleed the master.  I'm a fan of the vacuum bleeder tools.  They allow you to do this job yourself without a second person.  Box wrench and clear hose are essential.

I do what Kultulz does and it's also a one person job.  Drill a hole in the lid of a jar, run clear tubing into the jar and the other end on the bleeder screw head.  Put enough brake fluid in the jar to make sure that the end of the tube stays submerged.  I run enough tubing to put the jar next to me on the floor.  Loosen the bleeder screw and pump until you don't see any bubbles...you'll likely have to keep filling the reservoir.  Check the master every few pumps to make sure there's enough fluid.  Start at the farthest wheel from the master.  When there's no bubbles, tighten the bleeder back up.
