This the second type.
First question is why are two made, maybe the larger for overdrive smaller for standard.
Second question does anybody have the speed cup for the larger unit or are the needles available.?
Thx
Richard

Ford always used more than one mfg. for parts and this probably explains the difference. There are two NOS '54 Ford speedo needles for sale on Ebay right now and attached is a link for the cheaper of the two.

Ok thanks Allen.
I did notice the odometer gears are different. The larger units gear is smaller.
It’s not the pointer it’s the needle in the speed cup. Hoping someone who repairs these has one
