Should I change oil weight for next year?

Been running Amsoil Zrod 10W30 the past couple of years.  No smoke and everything seems good.
Oil pressure is about 50-55 once it's warmed up and driving.  40-45 ish at idle (if I recall).

Would I benefit from higher pressure if I went up to 10W40 or is the thinner oil I'm using able to flow into places better, i.e. for better top end oiling?
With that Amsoil I have to plan ahead and order it.
Thanks.

The idle pressure is very good.  Stay with the 10w30.

Stay with the AmsOil.  45psi at idle is more than adequate.  AmsOil is what I used in both my EMC engines and my Thunderbird and my Shelby GT-500.  Joe-JDC

No offense, but there have been many discussions about motor oil weight, synthetic vs conventional, brands, and so on, not only on this site but on many others. I realize that often it just comes down to one's personal preference or opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't there been members of this forum, including Ted, who have recommended not using synthetic oil in Y-blocks?
