When you say engine mid plate, are you referring to the bellhousing? Do you still have the throw out bearing arm or is that missing also? I have those but boxing and shipping to Florida would be expensive. My contact information is located at www.eatonbalancing.com .

Hey Ted, No, I managed to find a bellhousing and I have the throw out arm and bearing. When I unhooked the inline6 that was in the truck, there was a midplate between the engine and the trans. I purchased the yblock on it's own and there was no plate or bellhousing with it.
I've been told on another forum that according to the ford parts book that there *isn't* one for that motor to trans setup. Do you know if that's true or not? If so, then I can stop worrying about it and move on to worrying about something else. Thanks so much!

Never saw a plate between the flywheel and the block on a Ford Y. I am not aware of those plates on the Ford FE engines until the 1965 model year which corresponded to the starter drive change on those engines.
