What is the chamber volume on those heads?

Lord,
I have no way of checking chamber volume.

If they are Ecz-G heads, ? a more important question is "have they been milled ?" And if so, how much?..Our man Ted recommends no more than 25 thousands on the "G" heads, which have somewhat thin decks..

Paul,
Are you interested in my cylinder heads? You seem to have questionable queries on the validity of my parts for sale. If so I will measure them.  If not please lighten up…
I’m sure John Mummert  knows what he is doing. when he put these heads together for me.  Like I said all my parts for sale they ran  excellent  on my 312

Measuring the mill cut not exactly rocket science, and no special equipment/tool is required. I’m sure any seriously interested buyer could research/supply the simple method (?). Also, if the chambers haven’t obviously been cleaned-up/matched, orig.. ‘G’ volumes are readily available.

Thanks Dan,
iIf someone sparks interest I’ll measure the heads. I’d guess John skimmed them .005-.010
for now I’m busy installing my new heads

PF, if the "G" heads are posted, they can be safely milled more than .025. If you go to eatonbalancing.com, you'll find that Ted built a customer's engine, the heads of which had been milled .080.

If John Mummert machined and assembled the heads, why would you question their integrity?

"G" head combustion chambers are a "nominal" 69cc. Tim Mcmaster says .005 = 1cc; however, Ted says .006 = 1cc. The only way to know for certain is by ccing the combustion chambers, and it's very likely that not all 8 chambers will be exactly the same.

If you can commit all of the specifics to memory, you're doing better than most of us.

Re posted heads. I stand corrected. I forgot that only the unposted heads have the thin deck issues...

Adding valve covers, valve cover gaskets and head gaskets. Best Gasket
