Original PAL rod nuts

Doing a rebuild on a 292.  Nothing too exotic, just an E4 Isky cam.  Stock bottom end with G heads and a B intake.  Question is with a basically stock motor do I reuse the PAl ( the thin locking nuts) on the rod bolt nuts?  Rods were in good shape, and just reused with no machining other than a balance job.

I normally change the nuts on stock rods even if I’m keeping the stock rod bolts when find the pal nuts. ARP sells them separately by size. I don’t think many engines used them after the 50’s. 
I’ve had the pan off my 56 292 and the PAL nuts were not used on the rebuild which was installed in the car when I purchased it.

For those of us who don't know what PAL nuts are, could someone post a photo? I don't intend to use them, but will check mine when it's time to rebuild it.

nobody uses them.ford done away with a lot of stuff like lock washers on the mains.
