Parking brake cable is removed drum spins but won't release from hub any information is appreciated

Try taking a hammer and striking the face of the drum. Lubricate where the drum slide over the axle, assuming its a rear drum. Hope this helps.

Back the brake shoes off as much as you can.they might have a lip worn on the outer edge of the drum holding it on Carl
