Would anyone have a source for the aluminum oil filter adapter plates other than ebay? The guy (buff8524) that makes and sells them on ebay has been sold out for months now.

www.2040-parts.com lists the for $50+ Don’t know if it’s the same person on the bay or not..

Lots of comments elsewhere questioning the legitimacy of 2040 parts. I have not seen anything positive regarding that site. HAMB is one place where the site was discussed. Probably best to find another supplier.

The ones listed on 2040 parts are the same ones as ebay. My understanding of 2040 parts is that the site is a scam.

Would it be possible to get a used one off an abandoned block?

The aluminum or billet oil filter adapters are a reasonably new production piece.  It’s also a very low production item so finding one on an old block or core engine would be a tall order.

Thanks for the info. My search for the product brought up the 2040 parts. I had no knowledge of them. Thanks for sharing.
