Does anybody know where TDC is in relation to the keyway on the crank?  Evidently the harmonic balancer marks are not accurate anymore

Sounds like your outer ring has slipped due to deteriorated rubber. If you keep running it like that eventually it will come apart completely, not a pretty sight. There are a couple of places that rebuild them, The Damper Doctor and The Damper Dudes. They will either have them on an exchange basis or rebuild yours, which will reestablish the relationship between the keyway and the TDC mark.

With the #1 & #6 pistons at TDC, the damper crankshaft key and/or key slot will be at approximately the 7:30 O’Clock position when looking at the engine from the front.
