By charliemccraney - 3 Years Ago "Red paint is area that the plate pushes on, i also have 5/16 washers bonded on the plate so there is also proper pressure between plate and and retaining bolts  there are 8 bolt holes in the plate. Nice kit includes hard ware and instructions.  Hope to hear from others who have purchased them and results.
