My friend Dan in California just dynoed a Lincoln that I consulted with him on building. Nice numbers for some old iron His is 390 inches 10:1 compression ported stock heads mild hydraulic roller cam. Custom spacers to adapt a scrub Performer RPM intake and a 750 carb.. It is going into a 53 Lincoln Cosmo with a 6 speed automatic. That torque is impressive

That engine has very little in common with the engines discussed on this forum, and virtually shares no parts, just in case any of you are wondering if that hydraulic-roller cam will work in your engine.

LYB is frequently discussed here and has many followers. Most know the difference(s).
THANX for the dyno results.

Very good performance from an engine that’s totally void of aftermarket parts being available. The BSFC numbers are also very good. Metric rings?

Ted he has custom JE pistons so I am assuming metric rings.. Spacer adds 2" to runner length so he has a really hi rise dual plane intake plus a pro built carb
