Hello is the hose between the water pump and the thermostat housing 1/2 inch thanks

Should be 5/8" if You have the correct Stat Housing. The early 54's used a 1/2" as the Nipple on the Stat Housing was smaller than 55+. Just cut a piece of 5/8" Heater Hose.
