Hello Again I am looking for the correct end gap for a 292 that has been bored 40 over. The reason I am asking is I was just told that the top ring should be different then the next ring . I thought they should be the same . Thanks again

The rings should come with instructions for that. Don't 2nd guess the ring manufacturer.
