Complete Ford rear end from a 56 car. 3.30 ratio 57 3/8" drum to drum and 43" on the springs. No emergency brake cable or inner e brackets. Needs shoes (good for cores). All parts in a box not seen in the photo, includes u-joint. I've heard they are the same from 49. Pick up only, Orange County in Southern California. 714-488-6851

FYI 49 thru 56 use the same housing, 56 axles have a finer spline than 49/55 but 56 axles will fit if you change the spider gears. Ford cars with Ford o matic 1951 to 1955 had a 3.30 gear, 56 Ford o matic had a 3.22 gear.

I'll suspect this a 55 rear. I know it was not original to the car. Found that in all the records that came with it.
