		| Don't use Fram.  Use the Ford one (FL1-A) or equivalent in WIX

		| Wix has been either the top or shared the top spot for most of my life. They filter down to smaller particulates than almost all others. I remember my dad insisted on Wix for his diesel trucks back in the day. |

		| i would guess the fram filter spent some time  out in the rain. i cut myn open on a regular basis, saw no issues, compared to wicks and ford found fram had bigger holes s  for oil  in than wicks or ford

		| Y blockers, I have been using a Fram PH8A. The engine is a 292 Y block that has been converted to a spin on filter. What is the Number of the Wix filter that I would use?

 Thanks for your help,
