Very nice car. Showed well. A lot of work went into it. Valve covers were well done. I personally would have liked to see the windshield more vertical but it may also have had a top which was not on.
Hard to compete in that class with Moal and Poteete.

The tires are too far up in the fenders....looks ridiculous. Must have air bags?

I agree. If you want a low rider, build a '69 Impala. Restomodding a 32 Ford? Hell no! I do like their choice of engine. At least it's not a scruby.

I actually think the big and little's thing has gone overboard. I'd down size those rears a couple sizes. They have to be custom made wires at about 20". I just don't like those big wheels on old cars.

I’ve had the chance to talk to 2 AMBR winners, one of which already had won the Ridler, over the years. They really aren’t “cars” the way most of us think of them. I was under a Ridler winner when it was on the rack, and all the hex head bolts line up, screw slots, etc. Body gaps are so tight a trip on a rough road will chip the paint on the edges on some of them. Whole different world. There was some speculation a few years back you couldn’t win the AMBR without fenders as you didn’t have enough bodywork. That proved to be false.
I couldn’t find if that car was entered for AMBR, but it does have a Y block.

Those million dollar show cars have all of the best and right stuff including some parts that were never made. They are pretty to look at and interesting to get ideas but not meant for normal people driving. I look at them in the same way I look at any museum piece. I can admire the look, the stance and the work and that's about it. Hot Rod appreciation 101.

Wheres the "Hot" in the Hot Rod if you cannot drive it or do a proper burnout?
But what I know, I am just poor car guy at other side of planet and far far away from the money shows.
That Rod is still nice though.
