I just got the Pan off my Engine to get to the Rear Main Seal. One of the reasons I pulled the Engine and Transmission was to fix Leaks. The Rear Main Seal pulled out was Neoprene so Someone has been into this before. They glued the Lower Half to to the Seal Retainer with what looks like Weatherstripping Glue. Didn't offset the Seal Ends so as to NOT  line up with the Parting Line of the Block. There were no Nails in the Side Seals but they were real Tight anyway. When I checked out the Neoprene Seals there is a Ford # on them. C0TT-6701-A. When I googled that # they are for a Ford Tractor. They don't include any Type of side Seal so I don't know what they used on mine to replace them. I guess that's why it was leaking. Hopefully my Fix turns out better. I am going to review the Information that Ted Published on His Website.

Based on your other post, I’m guessing a 292?
