Here's stupid question - I see "ISO" a lot lately when people are looking for parts. What does it mean? Maybe I led a sheltered life???

Don’t feel alone Paul. It’s “International Organization for Standardization” to me. I’m old enough I don’t mind the world passing me by. I’m not sure I like where it’s going.

ISO is a painful reality for most manufacturers - it doesn't insure quality, it only insures you have a procedure in place that requires it. It has been mandated by European purchasing people for a long time.
