QUESTION..... the tail lights on the 55 Tbird "run" through the directional signal circuits, providing the headlight switch is in the parking or headlight position..  Correct or not?    The stop lights are activated by the stop light pressure switch...correct or not?   I ask because i'm troubleshooting the wiring using the electrical schematics.

Both correct. The turn signal switch overrides the brake lights.

Clarification......When stopping, the brake lights (the bright bulbs) are illuminated.  If I am turning at the same time, the stop light bulb (depending on which turn i'm taking)... will flash.......correct or not?  I ask because this vehicle was disassembled and whoever rewired it may have rewired it incorrectly.  I'm making forward progress.  Thanks.

Correct

The 'running light' part of the tail lights do not go through the signal switch. The brake light circuit does go through the signal switch.

As far as I know, Gene is correct
