I have a fresh rebuilt B7ME motor in my 1963 Correct Craft Atom Skier I would like to sell. The motor had everything done to it in the rebuild. Including the rear main cap upgrade, balanced spot on machine work. The motor has not been in the salt water, which is why I want to sell it. I live too close to the intracoastal water way and not using this beauty hurts. Just had it's 10 hour service. I will demo the motor to anyone interested before I remove it.
Complete engine package(motor, transmission, manifolds and mounts) $6500  Whole boat motor trailer $8000 Vero Beach, Florida

Left hand or right hand rotation on the crankshaft?  I have come across some single engine boat engines with right hand (reverse) rotation and they do tend to sneak into the shop with the owners being unaware of them being reverse rotation.  I have one now in the shop that’s reverse rotation but not stamped “R” or “RH” accordingly on the front of the engine.  It is stamped “312” at the front of the engine though.

It's a right hand motor with gear driven cam.

is the crank cast iron.

I don't remember, and I called my engine builder and he doesn't remember either. What his records show was polish and balance no turning was necessary.

If it is a 312, then it is cast.

Captnmike: Due to limited exposure here, if it doesn't sell you could try Y-block Magazine @ PO Box 1005 Ottawa IL 61350 USA. Ads start at .10 cents/ word, $3.00 minimum. Published bi monthly. Editor is Bruce Young. Next issue is in August...  Another possibility is Hemmings Motor News. Marine stuff comes up there fairly often. Details should be available on the Net.. Good luck..
