Aw, man.  I didn't want to click on this.  Had a feeling I knew what it was.

I know what you mean. He was my best friend. I can't begin to tell you the void it left in my life. We lost a good one.

He had a stroke a couple of years ago, that's why we weren't at Columbus. We were planning to go this year. I don't know if I'll be there, maybe. It won't be the same for me without him. I'm not sure yet. Deb and I talked about just coming to watch. I may be better by Labor Day, hope so.

Sad news. I was lucky enough to spend some good times with Bob at the Y-Block Nationals. He was fun to chat with. Not to mention those .000 lights. He will be missed. Chuck

John, I'm sorry to hear that.  My condolences to you on the loss of your friend, and to his family.  I will miss seeing him at the track.
Also, the Nationals will not be in Columbus this year, keep your ear to the ground.  Maybe Dave will keep you posted.

Bob called me Saturday to say it’s June 1-3. I can’t make it as we have camping reservations and it’s Ford Carlisle weekend.
