Hi Guys, just wondering where I can pick up new freeze plugs for my cylinder heads

I would think any auto parts store would have the size you needed.

these are standard engineering components. if you only want one or two I suggest getting an accurate measurement (diameter) and search on e-bay Aus. you may get what you want at a fraction of the cost of importing one from the U S of A.  shipping is a nightmare these days.

The size for that particular expansion plug is 59/64”.  I get mine through a local machine shop.  They get their supply from EPW (Engine Parts Warehouse) in Dallas, TX.

Thanks Ted, that’s exactly the info I was after.

Stuey- thanks mate, I haven’t had much luck calling around, but now I know the size I might make some progress.

, Try your local boat yard,  they may have brass ones. Go to the repair shop, not their store.
