I'd recommend 2 to 3 moderate (1lb N per 1k sq ft) slow release nitrogen applications to your lawn in the fall, Sep thru Nov, and raise the cutting height on your mower next summer. Make sure blade is balanced and sharp.

Greetings to all: I must say, this old guy is envious of your picture posting success. I've been trying to post pics that I thought would be of interest to this sit for a long time but could never figure it out. I have fire fox for a browser and can e-mail pics from my folders or my camera card all day but can't get a pic over the fence to this site. Any advice would be appreciated. I have an overdrive trans I want to post on this site. If need be, I'll just describe in text what I want to sell in the classified section and go from there. Merry Christmas and an excellent healthy new year to all, JEFF......

Here's another home machined compact version for aligning the timing cover. However, I found the timing cover with the alignment tool in place, will pivot about the crankshaft axis a couple degrees. Just make sure both pan gasket surfaces are aligned for a perfect fit. Nice solid '57 and thanks Rowen, I'll send a couple more.
