Hello I am working a 1955 Crown Victoria is there a thin layer of foam under the covering on the armrest or does the cover get glued right to the fiberglass armrest. I did not strip the car so I do not know what was there before thanks for any reply .

When I restored my 56 Glasstop years ago, I found a layer of foam on the arm rests.
