OK, this is very had to explain, very techy!!!!
Where can I find a (RED) Distributor cap for my Y-Blok
I know this has to make some of you laugh, and I have searched the net and can't seem to find one for sale
yet I see them on in photo's of Y-Blocks all the time...
A web site or part No. would be nice
I bought a cap at NAPA, (made in china) he got the cap back...I'd use the old one first..

Red is usually on aftermarket distributors like MSD or Mallory. The Chinese MSD copies also have them. However, they will not work with a stock distributor.
I don't find any in a brief search. If you are using a '57 or newer distributor, look for a cap for a small block as it is the same.
If it is older than '57, try some red spray paint. If there were ever any red ones made, you probably won't find one at this point.

If you want to pay the price, there is a new red transparent cap on ebay now for $60.00. Ebay #152644512239.

I'll keep up the search and I did think about just painting the cap I have...
