I was talking to a friend today who is in to older Corvetes. He was telling me about a new lube that is supposed to be thinner and work better in the old manual transmissions. Won't hurt the brass syncronizers. He thought Valvoline made it. Anyone know anything about it? Supposed to shift easier in cold weather.

Just checked Valvoline website. Called VPS. Full synthetic. Supposed to replace GL4 which is what I am using now. Anyone had any experience with it?

Motul also make one. Motul is expensive, in general, though. They have a conventional (mineral), synthetic blend (technosynthese) and 100% synthetic options which are safe for yellow metals.
