Oil Pressure Gauge

I have always wondered about this; will the gauge read correctly without bleeding the air from the oil
 line to the gauge?

That would be a yes.  Entrapped air within the oil pressure line going to the gauge will tend to dampen the responsiveness of the gauge but not the overall accuracy.
