I'm pretty sure I have a bad signal flasher in our 56 Ranch Wagon, but I can't locate it. I did find the in-line fuse for the flasher and replaced it, but couldn't locate the flasher. Used a good light and even a mirror to look around corners. I was assuming it would be near the headlight switch, but I may be wrong. It should be just a round, 2 blade flasher that plugs into a socket right?

Check on the side of the column near the headlight switch. There should be a spring clip that the flasher fits into.

Found it. It was  stuffed up in the radio wires. Got it switched out and directionals now work, but driver's side front is weak and no parking lights. Maybe a bad ground?  Needs a new harness I know. Maybe next winter.

The ground wires to the front air dam are pretty small. I think a good wire brushing and reassembly would go a long ways towards fixing it.
