Hi all, I've become the proud owner of an original 57 Lincoln Premiere with a 368 Y-Block, I'd like to replace or update the transmission to something a bit more modern with overdrive but I can't find any information online.  I have no idea if this is possible, but maybe someone here has some knowledge they'd share with me?  Any help, links, etc would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your time.

Your best bet is Bendstens transmission adapters in Ham Lake Mn. The Lincoln bell housing is not compatible with any other Fords

Wilcap also shows one. With the caveat "call for details".

I'm sure your preference is for an AOD, but based on price and availability, don't sell the 2004R GM short. They're almost as small as a p/g, and pretty easy to set up. The gear ratios are really nice.
