Welcome to the site.
The automatic transmission from an FE will not bolt directly to a Y. These two engine families have different bellhousing bolt patterns. Some of the FE automatic transmissions do have detachable bellhousings and in some of those cases, a Y automatic transmission bellhousing may work. Knowing more about which transmission you are dealing with can have some of the forum members comment if there is a Y bellhousing available or not.
