Been working under my Bird lately with the flat board creeper I had forever. Looking for a more comfortable update. My old back doesn't like it much anymore. What are you guys using? Specific's please.

Hey Rodger

Whats on top of that Sun cabinet ?  A scope ?

Sorry no  creeper suggestions - I'm a lucky guy with a lift.

Well, I've got one of those with the separate pads. Not much better. My buddy went to the 5 and dime and bought a "yoga pad". Cut it down to fit, and used the left over to pad his shoulders and hips. Custom made with duct tape. Better than mine. And cheap.

Several of us at the place I work have bought the creeper sold by "Harbor Freight" - reasonable price tag and fits people pretty well. Most of their stuff (HF) is of dubious origin but this one actually works well and none have fallen apart.

I NEED TO EDIT THIS POST:
The new HF listing for the creeper we got today says the capacity is 300 lbs, width 19" and length 40". Has six good sized casters and is molded of very heavy plastic - a contoured fit with shoulder relief. Description is "Oversized Low-Profile Creeper" - and the listing came with a SUPER COUPON showing a reducedprice of $19.99

Since I worked on cars for a living I went thru many creepers, mostly the Jeepers Creeper. Worked fine when I was younger but got to be a pain later. Broke down and bought a Snap On near the end. Six wheel, low profile and plenty of padding. It's the one to have if you work on this stuff everyday. Retired now so I don't use it much especially since I have a hoist.
