Hi guys,
I just purchased a 57 bird from a gentleman who had the car in the Tupelo Auto Museum for the last 15 years. Nice car but am having the usual " sits too long " issues. The carb developed a serious leak from the front bowl gasket, I guess, and it stopped after tightening the four bolts against the gasket.
My question is where on the carb is the part number? I'm not sure it is the stock carb. It is supposed to be the 4160 Holley. It has Holly stamped on both bowls but no number.
Newbie, help ?

Correct #s for the single Holley/ "D" codeT Bird would be 1273
