After selling off my wood working tools and giving my machine tools to my son in-law, I finished packing up all of my garage stuff for the move to Savannah. Originally I planned to rent a U-haul truck and tow my enclosed car trailer to get the gargae stuff to Georgia. But the wife didn't like the idea of me having to do the trip twice. So I ordered up a PODS 16 footer and loaded it up with the stuff and they will haul it to Georgia. So the PODS container is just under the maximum allowed weight and pretty well fills the 1,000 cubic foot volume. I still have to haul the truck and some of the stuff PODS won't let you put in their containers in the enclosed trailer behind the motorhome. Oh, my chrome pieces will be ready to pick up on Monday.

The trans was giving me trouble in my 302 powered 48 conv so last week some friends helped me pull the sheet metal off the front and pull the engine and trans. Got the trans back yesterday and today I attached it back to the engine and attached various parts that I removed from the engine which I had cleaned and painted.. Next day or two the engine and trans will go back in.
My YBlock cars don't need anything big to be done, will do them after the 48 is finished.

Greetings to all: Changed oil in my sons F150 because he doesn't have time to so much as look at his watch. Then continued repairing the 10 inch Logan lathe I picked up last weekend. First item produced will be a custom fan spacer for my 312 powered 64 F100. Everyone on this great site take care........JEFF

Well, it wasn't yesterday, but Monday we got a break in the rain, so I started the cabrio and warmed it up. An old friend dropped by, disabled VN vet, and we shot the s...., he can't get in the roadster. Yesterday, coming home from the dentist and a temporary bridge, the roads dried out. Got to run it up the street and back. Getting old is hell, but there is the occasional reward.

I also worked on trying to suck a mouse out of a can which grossed me out so bad I had to try to rinse my mouth with alchohol which led me to work on trying to shake off the alchohol poisioning from that episode! !

Worked on my 56. Got the wheels painted and most of the brake work finished. Also had to rewire the governor and overdrive solenoid on the T85. I got to ask about that mouse. He was in there when you took a drink? How in the heck did he get in there that soon?

Opened it and just had a little before leaving shop and left it on my desk, when I came in the next morning put it in the fridge for later because I hate to waste anything, later that afternoon when I got thirsty decided to finish it, thought it was just settled product on the bottom so tried to lick it out with my tongue, that didn't work so I started rinsing the can out in the bathroom filling with hot water and shaking several times and it wasn't disolving so I turned on the light to see what was going on and thats when I saw clumps of hair in the sink, looked in the can and started gagging, I am still gagging a few days later everytime I think about it! I don't normally buy drinks of that nature but thought what the heck, I needd an energy boost, maybe it would help. Never again!

Plexi glass holds up well but this is not on a driver, its on a test mule for setting up different intakes, carbs etc. I had people mention I should incorporate mini LED lights under it to flash with the ignition!

Hi, I am making a intake manifold out of plexi glass, I am concerned about the heat warping the flange and leaking.

If that happened to me I don't think I could drink anything out of a can ever again.

I'd invent the plexican so I can see Moca Mouse before I drink him again.

Straightened the left side intake manifold flange to minimize the coolant consumption.

Been putting this off to do outside because of aluminum dust . It was cold but had to start so I can be running as warm weather here sooner than we think. Smoothed up the rough aluminum castings for 4-71 Blower case and bearing covers. Got a lot done but still a ways to go before I will try to polish. I've been putting off all winter but I now have all the parts to complete except for carb or fuel inj [???].. Back at it today

Nice work Tcat. Many newer engines run plastic manifolds and valve covers, I want to mold some clear lexan valve covers! would go good with plexiglass intake. Didn't John Kasse make plexiglass intakes for testing flow, he had a hole he would stick his finger in to feel for reversion at different rpm's. again a test mule, not a driver on the street.

Hi, I'm working on a race car, making manifolds are hard, Plexi Glass seems to be easier, I am not expecting it to last, I am just looking to make a model to test (the easiest way possible).

Got the engine and trans back into the 48 and started getting all the parts back on the engine and car.. It was a little of a hassle getting it back in, but it went in without too much swearing

Went to the chromer today and picked up the last of the parts for the F-100, I won't be able to get back working on the truck until we are fully relocated in Georgia.

Mounted the filter and electric pump to the Chrysler frame rails. Now I need to get 12' of AN-6 braided line to run the lines. Flex plate is fixed so I may start the Hemi in a week or so.
