hello I was wondering if anybody here has a good usable set of 56 mercury station wagon tail lights? I'd like to buy a set for my 55 customline.

Good luck finding those. Everybody would like to find a set. They are available as repros but not in Metal. I think they are Fibreglas. Check Ebay. The real Ones when you find them go for $800.00+. Very hard to find.

The lens's are available from only one source and they are expensive. I believe around $400 for all four. I have a set of cast aluminum ones that include the separator for the upper and lower lens. They are a decent casting but would need finishing. Chuck

I'm surprised that with the money these things are bringing that no one is reproducing them yet.

There are some fiberglass ones with a one piece lens. I have them on my Vicky and they look good. The only other one I know is in El Paso and he makes the aluminum housing and center bar. They should buff up like the original ones. Also only the one place for the lens reproductions.
