I have a love/hate relationship with the weather here in Nor Cal. It's been rainin here like a sum-bit#*h! We need it and we need it badly, but......man, I can't take my "Diana" out! It's killin me!!

Greetings to all: Rono, thanks for the post. Glad I wasn't taking a sip of something while I was reading it because I would probably have choked on it and got one of those "looks" from my great wife. As a kid, thousands of years ago, I worked at an auto parts store rebuilding carbs, cylinder heads, etc. and the owner was from the state South of you. Reading the Southern dialect as YOU posted it caught me off guard. Like, made my evening. That being said, perhaps this Northern critter can brighten your day. Even on a beautiful sunny clear day, I still can't fire up the Y-block and cruise because the da#* salt residue will be everywhere until around April. Hope this helps, JEFF..............

Being smack dab in the middle of the rust belt I can relate to that. If you get tired of the rain you can come here. 3° this morning with about 2" of fresh snow.

Ford Dearborn, I'm glad I could bring a smile, but, the state south of me is Mexico. I'm in Northern/Central California.
62 Bigwindow, no thanks ill pass. I lived in big piney wyo. for 7 years back in the early 80s and I have had enough snow n cold ta last a lifetime!! Ill take the rain anytime! Just jonesin for sum dry weather on a weekend. 60 yr old weather stripin n vacuum wipers.......

Ok, so yesterday we had some nice weather and I had a half days work. I took my "Diana" out for nice 60 mi cruise. I'm all better now!! I feel for you fellas that can't take your babies out even in nice weather this time of year for all the reasons stated above. I know we are all lookin forward to spring already,..it's right around the corner.......stay sane.
