What would the advantage of polyurethane be?

I'm not sure myself. The question was asked elsewhere and thought I would look into it. The main concern was all the rubber parts being sourced to China now by Carpenter and others.

The poly would be firmer with less give than a rubber mount. I wonder if the mount for an early FE 352/390 would work? I had some poly spring eye bushings made years ago. One of the serious drag racers put a set on his rear springs and said they helped take away a soft feeling when launching. Sorry but the sales did not justify having more made. Chuck

Buy two compound windshield glue and do it yourself.
If you got tight fitting headers or something and large team of horses dragging the wagon, sturdier mounts might help.
