Chuck. Links in general without any pictures or information are frowned upon. If posting a link, by all means add some additional information and pictures. Date and location being included with the link would be a plus.
The links by themselves can be problematic in that they may not go directly to the item that’s been posted and instead goes to a generic location or a home page. I have seen a number of links for Craigslist items that did not go directly to the item but instead just went to the Craigslist home page. Another issue with links is their life spans. Once the item is sold or times out, the link no longer takes you there.
