Hello,
Got some repro hood pads (the insulation on the underside of the hood) for our 56 Sunliner.
Stupid question; which way does it go? Does it go with the yellow/fiberglass exposed, or the black backing exposed?
Have a show this weekend and trying to get it figured out in time.

My 55CV is yellow side out. I believe it to be original to the car.

Thanks, that's what I originally thought, but the directions that came with the padding seemed to say to do it with the black part exposed. Also, I vaguely remember scraping off yellow fiberglass from the underside of the hood years ago when I painted it....

My original pad which finally fell off just a few months ago had the fiberglass facing outward with the backing glued to the hood. Can still see part of the black backing still stuck to the underside of the hood.
