I have a 9" torque converter for a FMX / Y block that I don't need. It's made by Alabama Converters or the Boss Hog people. Make me an offer.

have you used the converter, what  is the stall rated?

Gary, Backed it out of the garage and right back in. Maybe 30 feet. Supposedly 3500. It was too loose for me. Basically brand new.

I was needing one for a street car, that would be a little too loose for my use, thanks

That's where I'm at! I do have a 22-2500 for an FMX but it still has the SBF snout that would need to be shortened. Brand new in the box, I paid 215, your for 150 plus shipping.

How much does the snout have to be shortened, Can it be done on a lathe of would it need to go to a converter shop?

They tell me it needs to go to a converter shop. There isn't enough material in the housing to do it. the sides of the snout are basically heavy gauge sheet metal on Ford converters. The last one I had done ran about 100 bucks.
