Awesome..... Cars from the past and what was done was fun. Know one today would cut up a 2nd gen Fairlane or Camaro to make a street stock. 20-25 years ago no on gave a damn.

I've seen a TON of the 2d gen Camero's on dirt tracks for years. Not so many Fairlanes. https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en#hl=en&q=2dgen+camero+dirt+track+car

Sorry I meant 1st on the Fairlanes. Even the Ernhardts used them. The front suspensions were a lot better than the scrubrolets back then. Our first dirt car was a 77 Camaro full pan car, went thru 2 front clips. New car is a chassis car with another Camaro clip now using Pinto spindles, hybrid rotors, metric calipers and Crown Vic right lower a-frame.... Love "stock" cars.

In the 50's we preferred the 32 5 window body. Then you could buy them for under $100. We even bought some running cars, drove them to the shop, pulled the body off and dumped the rest. Sometimes I still have nightmares.
