Jeff Lutz is the guy that showed up at the NMRA meet several years ago. I guess he had permission from the track to make a test run in his 57. Jerry Christensen instantly befriended him! He went over and told Jeff he had a lot of nerve showing up at a Ford meet with a scrub. If you know Jerry it was mostly serious and not really in a joking manner. Before he walked off he asked Jeff what kind of rear end he had. Of course the answer was 9" Ford. Jerry walked away saying that's the only good thing in the whole car.
I hate to admit it but that darn thing is FAST! Don't tell Jerry though. Chuck

The link isn't working for me. I remember that. If it is 6000hp, though, there ain't much that is scruby in it, anyway.  It's just an aftermarket engine that produces lots of power.

Haha, I think I see why the link doesn't work. ch evy is automatically turned into scruby.
That's kinda annoying in this case.
Copy this and paste into the address bar and change scrubys to ch evys (without the space).

I think that truck is in the same competition series as the Lutz 57's. They drive them from track to track and then race against each other. Pack up and head to another track. The ET's are getting crazy but the street driven, albeit very uncomfortable, is amazing. Wild things are happening. Chuck
