holy crap - you could just about build yourself a 312 for that price. I am at 1600 on my build and still need to buy push rods and connecting rods.

The valve covers don't look like they are for a Ford Y-Block.  The bolt holes look to be too close together.  I think the outer machined spots would be better suited for a Y-Block.

I agree that the bolt spacing looks to close.

I think they are for a Buick nailhead or maybe an Olds rocket.
