Does anyone out there know where I can get a useable 312 crankshaft?
Thank you

Shipping a crank can be quite expensive..so your whereabouts would help, so people aren't just wasting time replying.

Does your old crank have a crack in it, or are you just building a 312?
By mbuckwa123 - 10 Years Ago
It is broken into 2 pieces.

I realize that your posting is to locate a replacement crank.  I would be interested to know where your crank broke.  Also, any collateral damage to the block?

Had an acquaintance purchase a standard (unturned) 312 crank from someone in Michigan a year ago next month.  Seller had others.  Crank cost acquaintance $300, magnetic testing before purchase was an additional $28, shipping was $70 to upstate New York.  Seller also had two other 312 crank & block assemblies as I recall.  -Can't remember quoted price.  IF you are still looking, I'll go after the contact info for you.

I am still looking.  I would appreciate the contact info, Thank you.

The engine fell off of the stand and broke the front of the crank completely off.  Very unfortunate.

Update:  Shipping box for crank with seller's mailing address found.  Acquaintance is working on finding paper with contact phone number and email address...  Search of old email's didn't locate anything under seller's name.

Sorry about all the requests.  I either do not know how to use this site or something is strange with it. After I posted the requests I could not see them on the site, or your responses so I kept trying.

Thank you
